Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Filling

  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Topping

  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Slider Assembly

  • 1 package Kings Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder; set aside for later brushing on the slider tops.
  3. Mix Chicken Filling: In a separate bowl, mix together the shredded rotisserie chicken, Ranch dressing, half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and buffalo sauce until the mixture is well combined and evenly coated.
  4. Prepare Rolls: Carefully slice the Kings Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Arrange the bottom halves in a 9×13 inch baking dish lightly sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Evenly spread the buffalo chicken mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls. Then sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top to create a cheesy layer.
  6. Top and Brush: Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese-covered layers. Generously brush the tops with the melted butter and garlic powder mixture for added flavor and browning.
  7. Cover and Bake: Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
  8. Uncover and Brown: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops of the sliders turn golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven, slice as desired, and serve warm to enjoy a spicy, cheesy, and flavorful treat.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick and flavorful shortcut; you can also use cooked shredded chicken breast.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to control the spice level according to your preference.
  • For extra crispiness, you can toast the bottom halves of the rolls lightly before assembling.
  • Covering with foil during baking ensures the sliders stay moist while melting the cheese.
  • Serve with extra Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping if desired.
