  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare Coffee Syrup: Combine the hot strong coffee with granulated sugar in a bowl and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool completely before stirring in the liqueur. This ensures the flavors meld properly.
  2. Make Mascarpone Cream: In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture thickens and stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the softened mascarpone cheese until smooth and creamy. Chill this cream in the refrigerator until ready to use to maintain its texture.
  3. Assemble the Base Layer: Quickly dip two ladyfingers one at a time on both sides into the cooled coffee syrup, ensuring they absorb the liquid but don’t become soggy. Place them side by side in the center of your serving plate.
  4. Add Cream Layer: Pipe or spoon a generous layer of the mascarpone cream over the soaked ladyfingers evenly to create a smooth layer.
